This exercise is designed for couples. If you do this exercise together for a few minutes every day, both you and your partner will develop a stronger capacity for unconditional love. If you argue with your partner, try this exercise straight afterward, if possible. You can also try it with children and , if you want to, you can carry it out in a reclining position, facing each other. If you like, you can have gentle music playing in the background.

- Sit face to face so that you can both easily reach your partner’s Heart (4th chakra) at the center of the chest.
- Lay your right hand on the heart center of your partner and your left hand over his or her hand.
- Now gaze for a while into each other’s eyes. After two or three minutes, both of you should close your eyes. You may feel a strong sense of love and unity. Stay as long as you like in this position – perhaps for 15 – 20 minutes.
